K-thermocouple connector male for compensational cable.
Wire-to-wire (flying-loom style) - Typically used on the sensor side of the connection. Female connector is used on the device side.
K type thermocouple standard colors are green (EU standard) and yellow (USA standard) colors. Only the color is different, otherwise it's all the same.
Reverse connection will result in measurement error. The polarity is marked on the connectors. Also, the + and - contacts are of different width:
